How many hours, which genres and narrators, how many days in a row — and the year in review. Figures and names, with no grades and no praise.
Statistics belong to Pro: without it the “Statistics” row in Settings opens the Akoue Pro screen. The history is gathered all the same: buy or renew Pro and you see the whole year.
What counts is the book moving forward while it plays: skips and pauses add no hours. This is book time, not clock time: at 1.5×, forty minutes come to about an hour. Reading text does not go into the statistics.

The week, the streak, the year
Four tiles at the top answer the main questions at once.
Open Settings → “Statistics”.
“This week” is the last seven days as a sliding window, not a calendar week.
“Days in a row” is the streak of days with listening. Not listened yet today? The streak counts from yesterday and does not break in the morning.
“This year” runs from 1 January; “Finished” is how many books you have finished over all time.
How much you listened today is visible without Pro too — in the status line on the “Now” tab, in every theme except Aura.
02/03
Genres, authors, narrators
What and whom you listen to most — over all time.
Below the tiles: “By genre”, “By author” and “By narrator” — up to eight rows each, by hours, largest first.
On the right, the share in per cent; under each row, a bar.
A book by two authors counts for both of them, a book in two genres for both genres.
Further down, “Finished this year”: the covers of books completed since 1 January.
A deleted book does not vanish from the statistics: its hours stay in the history.
03/03
Year in review
The review opens at any time, not only in December: the year as it is shaping up right now.
On the statistics screen tap “Year in review”.
In large type: the hours for the year and a comparison with the previous one: “N % more than in 2025”.
“by month” shows twelve bars; below come the facts: books finished, days with listening, the longest streak, the daily average, the longest month.
Then the authors, narrators and genres of the year — five of each, for this year only. If more than one year has data, a year picker appears at the top.
The daily average is divided by the days you listened, not by all 365.
What statistics do not have
Hours for the month on the main screen, or a choice of period: the week and the year are fixed.
Reading statistics: pages and time in the reader are not counted.
Goals and “N minutes a day” reminders.
A “Share” button for the year in review.
A breakdown by device: with sync the history is shared, the sum of all devices.
Comparisons with other people and leaderboards — on purpose.
